Owen Industries is Hiring a Shipping/Receiving Material Handler Near Sioux, IA
- Check equipment for proper operation and report defects.
- Load and unload trucks following Company and DOT requirements.
- Inspect material quantity and condition against shipping/receiving information.
- Ensure work meets job specifications and industry standards.
- Mark and package material as directed.
- Safely operate overhead crane using proper techniques.
- Estimate and calculate load weights to prevent overloading receiving trucks.
- Comply with MVS Health and Safety and OSHA requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of lifting equipment capacities and methods.
- Achieve on-time delivery to internal and external customers.
- Foster a positive team spirit across departments.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement Programs and company initiatives.
